Materials & Quality
What material are your terrain pieces made from?
All of our terrain pieces are 3D printed using high-quality PLA (Polylactic Acid) filament. PLA is a durable, eco-friendly thermoplastic derived from renewable resources like corn starch. It produces crisp details and holds up well to regular tabletop use.
How durable are the pieces?
PLA terrain is surprisingly sturdy for gaming use. Pieces can withstand regular handling, transport, and gameplay. While PLA is not as impact-resistant as resin, our prints use solid infill settings for structural strength. Avoid leaving pieces in hot cars or direct sunlight for extended periods, as PLA can soften above 60°C (140°F).
Painting & Customization
Can I paint the terrain pieces?
Absolutely! Our terrain pieces are designed to be painted. PLA accepts acrylic paint very well. Here are our recommended steps:
- Wash pieces with warm soapy water to remove any dust
- Apply a primer coat (spray primer works great — we recommend grey or black)
- Paint with any acrylic paints (Citadel, Vallejo, Army Painter, and craft acrylics all work well)
- Apply a matte or satin varnish to protect your paint job
No special preparation is needed beyond priming. PLA has a slightly textured surface from the printing process that actually helps paint adhesion.

Where do you ship?
We currently ship exclusively within Canada. We offer shipping to all provinces and territories.
How long does shipping take?
Most orders ship within 2-3 business days. Delivery times vary by location:
- Ontario & Quebec: 3-5 business days
- Western Canada (BC, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba): 5-7 business days
- Atlantic Canada: 5-7 business days
- Northern territories: 7-14 business days
You will receive a tracking number by email once your order ships.
How much does shipping cost?
Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on your location and order weight. We work to keep shipping affordable for all Canadian customers.
Custom Orders
Do you accept custom terrain orders?
Yes! We love working on custom projects. Whether you need a specific dungeon layout, a sci-fi battlefield piece, or terrain sized for a particular game system, we can help. Contact us at our email with details about what you are looking for and we will provide a quote.
How long do custom orders take?
Custom orders typically take 1-3 weeks depending on complexity and current queue. We will give you an estimated timeline when we provide your quote.
Returns & Exchanges
What is your return policy?
We want you to be happy with your purchase. If your order arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 14 days of delivery with photos of the issue. We will send a replacement at no cost.
For undamaged items, we accept returns within 14 days of delivery. Items must be in original condition. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer.
What if my order arrives damaged?
If any pieces arrive broken or damaged during shipping, contact us right away with photos. We will replace damaged items free of charge — no need to return the broken pieces.
Care & Storage
How should I store my terrain?
Store your terrain pieces in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat sources. A dedicated terrain storage box or case with foam padding works best for transport. Avoid stacking heavy items on top of delicate pieces like towers or thin walls.
How do I clean my terrain?
Unpainted pieces can be washed with warm soapy water. For painted pieces, use a soft dry brush to remove dust. Avoid soaking painted terrain as it may affect the finish.
